What is the Long Form of FIFA?

Fédération Internationale de Football Association (also known as the WorldCup full form in French) was founded in 1904 to oversee international competition among different countries in the field of football. It was in the year 1930 when the first FIFA Men’s World Cup was conducted.

Many of us might be unfamiliar with the full form of FIFA World Cup and can also miss out on some of the important facts about FIFA. In English, the long form of FIFA is the International Federation of Association Football which is an international governing body that governs, manages and promotes the association of football, futsal and beach soccer. Highlights of FIFA World Cup

International Federation of Association Football (FIFA full form) was founded on 21 May in the year 1904. Its motto was “For the game. For the world”. FIFA was the only international governing body which was responsible for organising football tournaments. It had seven founding members at the beginning. These founding members were Belgium, France, Denmark, Netherlands, Sweden, Spain and Switzerland. The main goal of FIFA is the constant improvement of football. At present, Gianni Infantino is the president of the International Federation of Association Football.
