Isosceles Triangle Chapter 10 Class 9 ICSE

A triangle is an isosceles triangle if its two sides opposite to any two angles are equal. Like any other triangle, it also has three angles that make a sum of 180 degrees.

In this chapter, students learn different theorems; one of the theorems explains the proof that opposite angles of the Isosceles triangle always be equal.

Note that an equilateral triangle whose all sides and angles are of the same length and degrees, satisfy all the properties of an isosceles triangle, but the vice versa will be true is not necessary.
