The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has changed the examination marking scheme of Class 10th board examinations to be conducted. According to the news reports, students who are appearing for the Class 10th board examinations in MP have to attempt the exam for 80 marks instead of 100.

With this, the board has also changed the passing marks for the exams. Students now need 27 marks to pass the exam instead of 33 marks. It has to be seen that even if the board had made these changes last year itself the students could not benefit from it because of a lack of publicity. The board has however trained the principals and the issued guidelines to the officers at the District Education Department.
