Gujarat MBBS 2023 admission is conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC). The Gujarat MBBS application form 2023 release date is not yet announced by the authorities. Candidates who meet the requirements for Gujarat MBBS eligibility may participate in the Gujarat MBBS 2023 admissions processes.

Gujarat NEET Application Form 2023 Eligibility Criteria

You need to fulfil the following criteria, as set by the competent authority, to be considered eligible for filling up the Gujarat state MBBS application form:

• Candidate must be an Indian citizen

• Candidate must have reached 17 years of age as of 31-12-2023 and must not be more than 25 years old.

• Candidate must be a resident of Gujarat by birth or must have lived in this state for at least 10 years to claim domicile of Gujarat

• Candidate must be a pass out of the Gujarat state board/ICSE/CBSE/NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling/International Board (IB) schools for class 10 and 12

• Candidate must have studied the combination of Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English in class 12 and passed an aggregate of 50% (general category) or 45% (PH category) or 40% (reserved category)

• NRI candidates aspiring to take admission to UG medical and dental courses, should pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as primary subjects.

• Qualifying for NEET 2023 is mandatory to be eligible for Gujarat MBBS/BDS 2023 admission process.

Gujarat State  MBBS 2023 Application Form Process

Step 1: Purchase 14 Digit PIN 

You will be provided with a list of designated Axis bank branches from where you should purchase the prospectus and a unique 14 digit PIN. Pay the application fee for the Gujarat NEET registration at the Axis bank branches. 

After receiving the PIN, candidates need to click on the link provided on the official website of the (ACPUGMEC) to start filling out the Gujarat NEET 2023 application  form. The application form will be displayed on the screen, in which you need to click on "new registration" and choose the course name by default, which is medical and paramedical courses. 

After that, you will have to answer the question, “Have you appeared in NEET 2023 examination?” 

After answering the question, a new screen will be displayed on the screen where you have to submit details such as name, PIN, email address, and phone number with a security pin.

Step 2: Filling Up Medical Admission Form 

In this step, you need to fill in quite a few details such as

Fill in all these details carefully as a slight mistake will result in complete cancellation.

Step 3: Photo and signature upload

Scan your recent passport-size photograph and signature (both in JPG/JPEG format) in sizes not less than 40kb and 20 kb, respectively. 

Step 4: User ID and Password creation

Log in to the Gujarat NEET registration portal using the unique login ID. Now create a password of your choice using a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 alphanumeric characters. Enter the security PIN in the captcha code. 

Step 5: Submission of the medical admission form in Gujarat

This is the last step where you can still go back and edit the information you have put there in the Gujarat MBBS application form. Check everything minutely and click on “Accepting the declaration”, then click the “submit registration details” tab. Going further, you cannot make any more changes. 

Step 6: Take printouts.

Click on the “print your details” tab and take at least 2-3 prints out of your filled-up Gujarat MBBS application form 2023 for all your future references. Later report to the help centres for document verification on mentioned date and venue.

Mandatory Documents Candidates Need To Submit For Verification

Successfully registered candidates must report to the centres along with the documents listed below for verification purposes:

• Class 10 mark sheet

• Class 12 mark sheet

• Copy of NEET result 2023

• Gujarat domicile certificate

• School leaving certificate/transfer certificate/passport/birth certificate for the proof of date of birth, place of birth, and Indian citizenship

• SC/ST/SEBC category certificate issued by the competent authority of the state

• SEBC Non-Creamy Layer certificate must be issued by respective authorities

• Local quota certificate if admitted in local quota to Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad or Surat Municipal Medical College, Surat

• Copy of passport (in case of dual citizenship/foreign)

• Disability certificate issued by competent authority subject to verification by the Medical Board of ACPUGMEC.

Note- It is vital for candidates to confirm their registration at the counselling centres and take a registration slip. Aspirants failing to carry registration slips will not be allowed for Gujarat MBBS 2023 admission.

What Happens After Gujarat State MBBS Application Form Submission?

The competent authority will release the list of eligible candidates and call them for the counselling process. This list will contain candidates’ NEET score, roll number, AIR, category, state merit rank and qualifying status. During the counselling, you will have to list the preferred colleges to which you want to get admission to pursue MBBS or BDS courses. This will be evaluated based on seat availability, rant of student etc.
