NEET (UG), which stands for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate), is an entrance exam for students who want to opt for a medical career. Undergraduate courses which can be considered after qualifying the NEET exam include MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BSMS, AYUSH, and various others. It is a 3 hours and 20 minutes long exam which was formerly called AIPMT, which stands for All India Pre-Medical Test, and later was confined to NEET.

The governing body responsible for conducting NEET is the National Testing Agency (NTA), which was established in the year 2017 and was approved by the Union Council of Ministers. The responsibilities of NTA include the conducting of Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main), National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate - NEET (UG), Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GMAT), and Common Management Admission Test (CMAT).

The syllabus of NEET is vast and hence it is a requirement for students to go beyond the NCERT curriculum and opt for different publisher's books as well concerning practising various question papers, sample papers, and worksheets which will be only beneficial for them.

To do well in the NEET exam, students are thereby advised to go through all of those important questions which have been asked in every NEET repeatedly. Not only this, there are some questions whose overall scoring marks are higher than the others, hence requiring a good amount of time and understanding by the candidate to score higher marks.
