Overview of CBSE Class X Social Science 2018 Paper: 

So, the Overview of Social Science 2018 Paper is as follows: 

• There is a total of 26 questions in all. And all the questions are compulsory to solve. 

• Questions from 1 to 7  - Very Short Answer Questions and each of these questions carry 1 mark. 

• Questions from 8 to 18 – Are of 3 marks each. But you need to take care while writing the answers to this question that the words should not exceed 80 words each.  

• Questions from 19 to 25 – These questions are of 5 marks each, the answer to these questions should not exceed 100 words each. You need to write point-wise answers to this type of question. This type of question is a little tricky to solve but can be written nicely if students follow CBSE Important Questions carefully. 

• Questions 26 – It is a Map question, and has two parts, A and B. A has 2 marks from history and B has 3 marks from geography. But students need to take care of attaching the maps inside their answer book.
