1. Natural resources can be of two types on the basis of renewability i.e. exhaustible and inexhaustible.

2. Exhaustible resources are those resources which are present on earth only in limited quantities and which can be completely gone through human for example coal, petroleum, wild life, soil fertility, etc.
- Soil fertility is an exhaustible resource as over using the same soil for fertilization can decrease then cease to contain all the minerals and nutrients required for the plant to grow. It can never renew on its own.
- Wildlife can also cease to exist if their population is not kept in check. Death rate should not exceed the birth rate. If once extinct it can never exist just like dinosaurs went extinct about 65 million years ago and could be only found through fossils.

3. Inexhaustible resources are everlasting in very great amounts that will never finish means they are unlimited in quantity. These resources cannot be completely used up by humans. These are everlasting because these can also be renewed within a reasonable period of time.
- These resources are mostly clean and can cause far less environmental pollution than exhaustible resources.
- Most of them are free for anyone to harness. These do not require extraction.
- These can be used directly without any processing.
Examples are Sunlight(solar), wind, water, biomass, geothermal, atmosphere, waves, tides, etc.

4. Wind power is a source of renewable energy . wind is used to produce electricity through windmills which reduces the use of fossil fuels which are nonrenewable.

Hence the correct answer is option(A)

Note: Natural resources are the material that are obtained from the earth that are mostly used to support life and meet people’s needs. These are of four types: renewable, living, non renewable and fossil fuels.
