Kempe Gowda of Magadi had henchmen at Yelahanka and Kanthirava was able to deliver a major blow to them.
The first Wodeyar of Mysore to create symbols associated with royalty was Kanthirava Narasaraja Wodeyar. By symbols of royalty what Kanthirava Narasaraja Wodeyar did was create royal coats of arms, mints were established by him, he also issued coins which were named after him - ‘Kathiraya’.
