Hint:-Sexual reproduction in flowering plants takes place by the involvement of both male and female gametes which further forms zygote after fusion. The process of pollen grains getting deposited on stigma is known as pollination. Pollen grains are called male gametophytes carrying male gametes which stick to the stigma and travel inside the ovule where the female gamete is present, and their fusion takes place.

In sexual reproduction the pollen grains are transferred to the stigma in three different types of process or we can say three different types of pollination occur, those are autogamy, geitonogamy and xenogamy.
