The Yunnan Plateau subtropical evergreen forests are the endangered ecoregion in the southwestern part of China. These forests have covered the western parts of the Yungui Plateau. But these have been significantly reduced and replaced with the agricultural land uses. The Yunnan forests and its neighbouring Guizhou Plateau are broadleaf.
