On the occasion of Seventh March address Bangabandhu SHEIKH MUJIBUR RAHMAN at the Racecourse Maidan (now Suhra wardy Udyan) in Dhaka was preceded by this song. 23 March it was played by Swadhin Bangla Kendriya Chhatra Sangram Parishad. Mainly for the parade marking independence. The Bangladesh Government adopted this song as the national anthem of Bangladesh, and it was used by SWADHIN BANGLA BETAR KENDRA throughout the War period of Liberation. The first part of the song that includes ten lines has been specified to make the anthem for vocal music and the first four lines of the song for instrumental music.
