Complete answer:
Population explosion:-Population explosion is the rapid increase in the number of the individuals of a population, especially the human being population that has occurred in the last 100 years. There are many causes of population explosion such as decrease in infant mortality rate, increase in life expectancy, improved medical conditions, accelerating birth rate, etc.
Four methods of population control:
>Delayed marriages – The problem of child marriage in most of the countries is the major cause of the increase in population. A marriage at a tender age leads to long span for giving birth and also young age marriage devoid people of the education and awareness which is required for understanding the consequences of raising too many children. The birth rate can be declined if the legal age for marriage will be 18 years.
>Spread awareness – People need to be made aware about the consequences of raising too many children. Many awareness programmes and campaigns can be organized in order to make people aware.
>By using contraceptive methods – Contraceptive methods are also called as birth control methods. They are used to prevent unwanted pregnancy and to control the growth of the population.
>Raising the status of women – Women are called the mother of this world. But they Are still discriminated against. They are confined to the four walls of their houses. Women should be given opportunities to develop socially and economically so that they can make their own decisions and will not depend on anyone.
Note:It is important to control the rapid population growth. Because due to increasing population growth many problems have been created. There is a shortage of food and many more resources due to the increase in population. Unemployment, which has become the major common problem is also due to this rapid population growth.
