So, a vertex is the starting point or the origin of the angle. It means the point where the angle is formed is known as the vertex. The two rays which make an angle merge from this vertex and the merging of that rays becomes a point and that point is known as the vertex. Here, x is the point where the two rays P and Q are merging or we can say the origin of these are from x and thus x is known as the vertex.
