Hint: Human circulatory system is a twofold circulatory system. It has two separate circuits and the blood goes through the heart twice in a single cycle. In human beings, the double circulation has two paths: pulmonary circulation and systemic circulation.
Complete answer:
Note: It is essential for the individual to isolate oxygenated and deoxygenated blood since this makes their circulatory system more proficient and aids in keeping up the steady internal heat level.
Complete answer:
Human heart is a four chambered heart it pumps blood throughout the body, it supplies oxygen to the tissues and removes carbon dioxide from the body. we have to think about the circulatory system. The circulatory system consists of veins that divert the blood from and towards the heart. Conduits divert blood from the heart and veins back to the heart. The circulatory system conveys oxygen, supplements and hormones to the cell and eliminates squander items like carbon dioxide.
In systemic circulation, oxygen rich blood is carried from left ventricles to the tissues. The aorta receives the oxygenated blood and distributes it to different parts of the body. Oxygenated blood is transferred to various tissues by a network of arteries, arterioles and capillaries, from the body tissues. The deoxygenated blood is collected by the veins, venules and is carried to the superior vena cava into the right atrium. The atrium carries the blood to the right ventricle for pulmonary circulation.
In the pulmonary circulation, the pulmonary artery collects the blood and carries it to the lungs. In the lungs, the deoxygenated blood is purified and oxygenated in the lungs. The deoxygenated blood is pumped into the pulmonary artery from where it gets transferred to the lungs after getting oxygenated in the lungs; pulmonary veins carry the oxygenated blood into the left atrium. The left ventricles then pump the blood to the aorta for further circulation.
During double circulation, blood enters the heart two times in a single cycle and doesn’t even get mixed as the blood flows in two different routes, one route is for the oxygenated blood while the other one is for deoxygenated blood. That means oxygenated and deoxygenated blood doesn’t get mixed and hence circulation is maintained properly and so is the body functions, because of this double circulation is necessary in human beings.
The double circulation in human beings is necessary because of four major functions of human heart are as follows;
> To provide an effective way of transportation of nutrients, gases and waste products that are produced due to metabolic activities.
> To maintain proper body temperature in the body.
> It helps in maintaining fluid balance in the body.
> It provide protection in the body against various infection and blood loss.

Note: It is essential for the individual to isolate oxygenated and deoxygenated blood since this makes their circulatory system more proficient and aids in keeping up the steady internal heat level.
