Hint: In order to solve this question, we should know about Black holes. Black holes are generally regions of space where the gravitational pull is very high so that even light can’t escape from it. Here we will discuss the phenomenon of time in black holes.
Complete step by step solution:
According to the theory of general relativity, the space-time fabric of the universe is curved and since black holes are regions where the space-time curve is very high due to high gravitational pull. and in relativistic mechanics higher the gravitational field, the slower the time runs.
So, near black holes gravitational pull is very high and this cause time to run very slow as compared to the observer far away from the black hole, and as we go nearer or inside the black hole, the gravitational pull increases too much which almost stops the flow of time but it always appeared that flow of time stops for the observer far away from black hole but for the observer inside the black hole, time runs very slowly but don’t stop completely.
So, for an observer far away from black hole, it might appear that time doesn't exist in black hole due to the relativity of the frame of references but inside black hole, time exists but runs very slowly.
Hence, yes time exists in black holes.
Note: It should be remembered that it was first Albert Einstein who introduced the theory of general relativity which tells us about the nature of space time fabric of the universe, more the mass is concentrated in a small region of space, the higl, her the bending of the space time curve takes place and the slower the time runs in these places.
