Hint: As we know that the two dimensional plane is called the Cartesian plane or the coordinate plane and the axes are called the coordinate axes or the $x - $ axis and $y - $ axis. We know that a Cartesian plane is a graph with two axes that are perpendicular to each other. The origin $'O'$ is the exact center of the graph or the intersecting point of the two axes.

Complete step by step answer:
As we know that a coordinate plane has two perpendicular number lines that is used to describe any point in the plane using an ordered pair of numbers.
We know that number to the right of the zero on the $x - $ axis are positive and the numbers to the left of zero are negative. Similarly the number below the $y - $ axis are negative and the numbers above are positive.
These two axes divide the coordinate plane into four parts and we call them quadrants.
The first quadrant is top right, second quadrant is top left and we can call the bottom left and bottom right as third quadrant and fourth quadrant respectively.

Hence from the above image it is clear how to draw and label a coordinate plane.

Note: Before solving the questions related to coordinate planes we should be fully aware of the concept of the quadrants and their numbers in which the value is positive and where is negative. We should know that both $x,y$ are positive in the first quadrant, in the second quadrant the $x$ is negative and $y$is positive. Similarly in the third quadrant both x, y are negative and in fourth quadrant $x$ is positive and $y$ is negative.
