Hint: The most renowned argument regarding the formation of the universe was given in the great big bang theory. Also known as the expanding universe hypothesis. Edwin Powell Hubble provided evidence that the universe is expanding in the form of changes. Further studies have also shown the same.

Complete answer:
Yes, the universe is changing. As time goes on, galaxies move apart from each other. The distance between these galaxies is also found to be increasing and thus, the universe is said to be expanding, or changing.

The growth of the universe ,consistent with the national Aeronautics and space administration the growth of the universe is continuous still .However, it is at a lower rate .Edwin Hubble discovered that in 1920 the universe wasn’t static but the growth is continuous .However ,at an awfully slower rate because of acceleration. The Big Bang hypothesis of Edwin Hubble ,where all available matter past or current matter in the universe ,all formed at the same time ,around 13.8 billion years ago .During this time, all matters were inside a small ball with immense density and heat ,called singularity .With the changes in the processes ,the singularity expanded to form the current Universe we live in.

The studies undertaken to study the supernovas 1997 and 1998 provides evidence for the same. It argued that the expansion of the universe was increasing. The SuperNova Cosmology venture, The High Z supernova Search Team and the SuperNova Legacy Survey all freely affirmed that the pace of extension of the universe is expanding.

Note:There are lots of studies undergoing and have been done that show that the universe is not static and is undergoing changes. Big bang theory remains the most important in this respect among all others.
