Hint: Myopia is commonly known as near-sightedness and it is otherwise known as short-sightedness. Myopia is an eye defect, where the affected person can see the close object clearly, but the far object is a blur. It occurs if the shape of the eye causes light rays to refract correctly, and focus the image in front of the retina.
