Hint: Air and pressure are two very much related terms. It is the difference in air pressure that causes the rise and sink of air also known as wind, which can cause temperature drops, storms and thunderstorms. Pressure differences in different regions are caused due to difference in temperature of earth’s surface.

Complete step by step answer:
The air around us exerts pressure
The continuous physical force exerted on an object or against an object when something comes in touch with it, is named pressure. Air exerts pressure in several ways under different situations and on all objects and altogether directions. It is what causes the balloons and tires to inflate.

The moving air is called Wind
The importance of air pressure is that it creates wind. The difference in atmospheric pressure gives rise to the wind on the earth. It influences weather Air movement, i.e. downward or upward movement of air caused thanks to differences in pressure creates the cloudy and clear sky, brings rain or fine weather.

The main cause of wind movement is uneven heating on the earth.
The wind is the movement of air which depends on the difference in atmospheric pressure in two regions. Air moves from the region of high to the region of low within the atmosphere. This difference in air pressure is created by uneven heating or unequal heating on the earth. The region where the air rises, a neighborhood of low pressure is made while the region where the air sinks, a neighborhood of high pressure is made.

High speed wind can cause cyclone in regions of low pressure
A cyclone may be a weather consisting of a system of high-speed winds revolving around a central area of very low. Cyclones develop over tropical seas. It is a storm with a wind speed of 150-250 km/h. It is amid strong winds and heavy rains. When air moves gently (low speed), it's called a breeze while when it moves violently (high speed), it's called a storm. When the pressure of air drops, it indicates the likelihood of a storm.

Note: The difference in air pressure has caused the creation of westerly winds which blow from the west at mid latitudes. They are produced because of polar easterly winds and the high pressure from the west. Since, the temperature of the surface of earth is uneven all over the globe, we will always see the wind flowing throughout the globe.
