Hint:Bhopal gas tragedy was one of the first major industrial disasters that occurred from an accident. The plant had release 42 tonnes of a toxic gas killing more than 15000 people. People were running on streets dying and vomiting. The toxic gas has affected trees and animals too.

Methyl isocyanide is exposed to water they react with each other causing heat reaction. Methyl isocyanate is safe for use if maintained properly, though it is no longer used in production still it is used in pesticides.
