Hint: Mixture is the substance that comprises more than one kind of particles like cement, pureed tomatoes and mineral water (combination of water and some valuable minerals such as calcium and magnesium). We can classify mixtures of two types. They are homogeneous mixtures and heterogeneous mixtures.

Substances composed of at least two components or compounds or both, combined as one in any extent are called mixtures.
Now, we will discuss the types of mixtures.
- Solid-solid mixture comprises at least two distinctive strong solid, for example, organic product salad and vegetable serving of mixed greens.
- Liquid-liquid mixture contains at least two unique fluids like combination of vinegar and water, combination of oil and water, combination of oil and vinegar (dressing of salad).
- Solid-liquid combination comprises strong and fluid matter like combination of sand and water, combination of salt and water.
- Gaseous-gaseous mixture comprises various gases, for example, climatic air which is a combination of oxygen gas, nitrogen gas, carbon dioxide gas and water fumes.
- Gas-liquid mixture comprises vaporous and fluid matter, for example, a combination of pop water that is delivered from dissolving carbon dioxide gas in sugar arrangement.
We will now give the two examples for each of the mixtures.
- Solid-Solid mixture: Two examples of these mixtures are sugar-sand mixture and sand-iron filling.
- Solid-liquid mixture: Two examples are salt-water and charcoal-water.
- Liquid-gas mixture: Two examples are coca cola and mist.
- Gas-Gas mixture: Two examples are air and perfumes, helium and hydrogen present in air balloons.

Note: Mixtures as homogeneous mixtures and heterogeneous mixtures. In homogeneous mixtures, the particles are mixed uniformly and composition of particles is uniform. In heterogeneous mixtures, the particles are not in uniform composition and they differ throughout the mixture.
