Golgi complex is made up of membranous stacks with two faces that are Trans face and cis face. Both faces are different from each other but interconnected. The main function of the Golgi apparatus is the packaging of material and then delivered to the target sites. The target sites can be inter-cellular or secreted outside the cell. The process of translation took place in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). Many protein synthesis by ribosomes on ER. Once the protein is synthesized, they are not directly sent to the target sites. Before sending to the target sites, these proteins get modified. This modification is called a post-translational modification. These modifications like phosphorylation, methylation, glycosylation, etc are done in the ER and Golgi apparatus. O-linked glycosylation is an example of a modification that is taking place in the Golgi apparatus.
Photosynthesis is the process by which light energy is converted into chemical energy.
Digestion is related to the digestive system. Digestion first start takes place in the mouth only.
Energy transferring organelles is mitochondria. The mitochondria are called the powerhouse of the cell.
Different organelles are present in the cell’s cytoplasm. All the organelles have a specific function.

Therefore, the correct answer is option A.

Note:
The materials to be packaged in the form of vesicles from the ER and these vesicles fuse with cis face of the Golgi apparatus and move towards the maturing face. The ribosomes synthesize the proteins are modified in the cisternae of the Golgi apparatus before they are released to the trans face. The Golgi apparatus is also an important site for glycoproteins and glycolipids formation.
