Hint: Uterus is a hollow muscular organ that is found in female pelvis located between bladder and rectum the ovaries are produced by the egg travel to the fallopian tube is fertilized it gets implanted in the lining of uterus

It is an inverted muscular organ of the female reproductive system that functions to Nourish and fertilize the egg until the foetus is ready to be delivered. The uterus consists of four major regions
1. The upper broad curved area is known as fundus in which the fallopian tube connects to the uterus.
2. The body or the main part of the uterus is just below the fallopian tube and continues downwards and till the uterine.
3. The cavity begins to get narrower the lowest part is known as isthmus.
4. below which it has a narrow neck region below which its cervix is located which opens to vagina.
The lining of the uterus consists of a moist mucous membrane which is known as endometrium. The lining is usually thick during the start of the menstruation cycle if the eggs get fertilized the endometrium help in the development of foetus where as if the eggs are not fertilized the the top layers of the endometrium are shed, and menstrual bleeding occurs., the component of endometrium includes water potassium chlorine ion chloride glucose etc which nourishes the foetus.
Note: The uterine wall is made up of three layers of muscles consist of connective tissues of blood vessels elastic fibre and collagen fibre this helps the uterine wall to expand and become thin as a child develop inside the uterus
