Hint: In order to solve this question we will first take the equation given to us as the starting point then we will solve this equation and find out the value of n then we will check this calculated value in the options and find out the correct option.

Complete step by step solution:
For solving this question we will first take the given equation as the basic equation then we will solve it:
$n + n = n$
On further solving this equation we will get the equation into new transformed formed which will be:
$2n = n$
So this is the final equation after all the solutions now we will find all the values which are satisfying this equation.
So clearly there is only one value which is satisfying this equation that is zero.
So zero will be the answer.
But the options given to us are 1, 2, 3 so the correct option for this question will be D.
So, the correct answer is “Option D”.

Note: While solving these types of questions there are not any real numbers that can satisfy this equation but the number which can satisfy this is only zero. So we should take care if we would have cancelled out the n from both the sides so the equation would have been converted in this form 1 = 2. Which is never possible so when we see something like this we must understand that the answer is zero in that case.
