Hint:Polymer is made up from two words poly + mer where poly means many and mer means parts i.e. polymer is defined as the many units of monomer attached together. Polymers can be found all around us.

Complete step-by-step answer: Polymers are of two types named as natural polymers and synthetic polymers. Natural polymers are those which we obtained from nature i.e. from plants and animals whereas synthetic polymers are also known as artificial or man-made polymers i.e. those polymers which are prepared synthetically in a lab by man. Rather than these two types there is one more type of polymer known as semi-synthetic polymer which are derived from naturally occurring polymers and further undergo chemical modification processes.
Polymer can also be classified on the basis of arrangement of monomer units; it may be linear, branched or cross chain polymers. The process by which monomers connect with each other and form polymers is known as polymerization. Wool is textile fiber obtained from sheep and other animals. Wool is kept in the category of natural fiber as it is directly obtained from nature i.e. from animal source. Wool consists of protein together with a small percentage of lipids.

Thus we can say that wool is a polymer.

Note:Wool is basically found from the animal named sheep and the main basic use of wool is to make clothes like sweaters, shawls, caps etc. Woolen clothes are worn in winters as these clothes prevent us from cold weather.
