Hint:For solving this question, we need to understand the meaning of non-biodegradable waste. Non-biodegradable waste is a type of waste product which cannot be completely decomposed by any living organism or any processing methods. For example: plastic packets and polythene.

Complete step by step answer:

As we know that, a biodegradable waste is that which includes organic matter which can be easily broken down into the form of carbon dioxide, water, methane and some organic molecules created by microorganisms and other living organisms from the process of composting, aerobic digestion, anaerobic digestion, etc. Whereas a non-biodegradable waste is one which cannot be handled properly as it cannot be broken down by any living organisms or sources. Thus, it acts as a major cause of pollution that is harmful to the environment.
As non-biodegradable wastes like plastic bags, glass bottles, wrappers, etc., cannot be broken down by decomposers. Hence, their disposal can be a big problem to the environment. So, we can handle non-biodegradable wastes with the concept of 3R’s that is Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
Here, recycling (option D) is the best way to get rid of non-biodegradable waste.
As burying non-biodegradable wastes will not have any effect and burning them can also lead to release of carbon monoxide which is toxic and is harmful for breathing. Thus, recycling is proven to be the best process of waste management by which we can reuse these wastes.

Note:
When products don’t get decomposed naturally then it might reside in landfills and take up space and time much longer than biodegradable materials. Also, when people litter, some of the non-biodegradable trash doesn't settle into the landfills. It gets carried away into sea, forests, fields, parks, and fields which can be more harmful.
