Hint: Start with Mohan. Let Mohan’s age be something. Then follow the question word by word.

Complete step-by-step answer:
Let Mohan’s age be xvyears. Then, Shyam’s age is 2x years and so Ram’s age will be
2x+2 years. Now according to the question, the sum of all is 27. So,

2x+2+2x+x=275x=2725x=25x=255x=5

Hence, Mohan’s age is 5 years and Shyam’s age is 2x=2×5=10years.

Note: In these kinds of word problems it’s recommended to let that think, which is directly or indirectly connected to all. If we let that thing then other things are pretty obvious.
