Hint: Start with Mohan. Let Mohan’s age be something. Then follow the question word by word.

Complete step-by-step answer:
Let Mohan’s age be $x$vyears. Then, Shyam’s age is $2x$ years and so Ram’s age will be
$2x + 2$ years. Now according to the question, the sum of all is 27. So,

$
  2x + 2 + 2x + x = 27 \\
   \Rightarrow 5x = 27 - 2 \\
   \Rightarrow 5x = 25 \\
   \Rightarrow x = \dfrac{{25}}{5} \\
   \Rightarrow x = 5 \\
$

Hence, Mohan’s age is 5 years and Shyam’s age is $2x = 2 \times 5 = 10$years.

Note: In these kinds of word problems it’s recommended to let that think, which is directly or indirectly connected to all. If we let that thing then other things are pretty obvious.
