Hint: Maharana Sangram Singh or Rana Sangram Singh commonly known as Rana Sanga ruled between the period of 1508-1528. He was defeated by Babur in the battle of Khanwa. He belonged to the Sisodiya clan of Rajput.

Complete Step by Step answer: Rana Sanga succeeded his father Rana Raimal and took over the power in 1508 and became the king or Rana of Mewar. During his reign he fought three prominent battles:
- The battle of Khatoli in 1517 against Ibrahim Lodhi. During this war he was brutally injured and lost his one arm and got his leg dysfunctional, but he succeeded and won the war.
- The battle of Gagron in 1519 against Sultan Mehmud or Mehmud Khilji of Malwa. Rana Sanga won the battle and all the territories acquired by Sultan Mehmud fell into the hands of the king of Mewar.
- The battle of Khanwa in 1527 against mughal emperor Babur. During this war he managed to get support from Rajput Kingdom of Rajasthan, Muslims Rajputs of Mewat and Afghans under Mahmud lodhi. Together they fought to expel Babur from India. Unfortunately Rana Sanga lost the battle and was badly wounded.
During the period of 1508 Gwalior was ruled by Raja Man Singh Tomar. He became the ruler or Tomar of Gwalior in 1486 to 1516. While Kalinjar was ruled by Chandela kings, and Ranthambore was under the rule of Delhi Sultanate but later annexed by Rana Sanga.

Thus, The correct answer is Option-A

Note: It is important to note that the fort of Ranthambore and provinces of eastern Rajasthan were annexed later by Rana Sanga. They were earlier part of the Lodhi Dynasty. Also do not get confused or mix Rana Sangu with Rana Sanga, as the former was the Sangwan gotra king who came to Dadri between 1540-45 during the reign of Shershah Suri.
