Hint - To solve this question, firstly we will refer to the chart (given in the question) and observe the similarities and differences between the frequency of sound of animals which can be made by man, since the graph of sound made by human is similar to dog and cat so, a human can imitate them whereas, the graph of sound of Dolphin grasshopper and bat has much larger has much larger difference as compared to man so human cannot imitate their sound, by using this information we can easily approach our answer.
Step-By-Step answer:
If we perceive the graph judiciously, we notice that dolphins make sounds ranging from 10000Hz to above 140,000Hz approximately, bat makes sounds ranging from 10000Hz to 10,000Hz approximately and grasshopper makes sounds ranging from 10000Hz to 100000Hz. For man audible range ranges from 20Hz to 20,000Hz. As all these three animals make sounds of frequencies greater than 20,000Hz, therefore man cannot imitate them.
Note - Sound is salient because it gives us details and moves towards us in ways visuals can’t and due to certain combination of sound and visuals can elicit that neither can do alone. While we cannot hear the ultrasonic waves, by applying them in various technologies such as sonar systems. Sound Navigation Ranging can be used for the purpose of navigation, weather prediction and for tracking aircrafts, ships, submarines and several missiles. It can also be used for estimating water depth, let’s say, the transmitter sends out a short pulse of sound, and receives the reflected sound later.
