Thus we get the cross linked structure of rubber which makes it more useful in industries and also commercially. To proceed this process of vulcanization faster we add some material known as accelerator which helps in more production of the vulcanized rubber. Therefore we can say that rubber made by vulcanization is a man-made material. Since its quality also improves, we can say that rubber made by vulcanization is a better material. Nowadays sulfur is not added with natural rubber during the process of vulcanization due to some environmental issues. Thus some metal oxides or even peroxides are added to natural rubber for vulcanization which give us a similar quality of vulcanization as produced by adding sulphur.
