But in the modern technique, wheels of vehicles are threshed over the grains on the road.
In 1786 the industrialization of threshing started when Andrew Meikle invented the threshing machine. Nowadays, the machine has a combined harvester, which can be used to harvest, thresh, and winnow the grain.
Threshing is a highly labor-consuming process and takes a long time to be done.

Note: Reaping is the process in which the grain with stalk or straw is cut from the farm and collected after which the threshing process is started. Bran is the outer layer covering of grain and it is a hard layer.
