Hint: For giving the answer to this question you should know about the rhombus and rectangle and you should also know about the diagram of both the rhombus and the rectangle. Both the rhombus and the rectangle form the quadrilateral family; it means both contain four sides in each other but both these have different shapes.

Complete step-by-step solution:
According to our question we have to explain about the shapes of a rhombus and a rectangle. And for the explanation of the shape of both we have to make the diagrams which will give an overview of the shape. So, the rhombus and rectangle’s diagram is as following:

So, by the figure of a rectangle it is clear that the rectangle contains four sides and these four sides are not equal with all these having only equal sides which are opposite of each other. And these sides can be upper and lower sides and it can be right or left side. The most important point of a rectangle is that all the angles of a rectangle are ${{90}^{\circ }}$. It means all the angles are always the same of a rectangle.
And the rhombus is a quadrilateral which has four sides. But all the four sides of a rhombus are equal to each other. It means both the upper and lower side are equal to the right and left sides. But the most important point for a rhombus is that the angles of the rhombus are equal to each other, which are opposite to each other. It is shown in the figure that the angle of upper and lower sides is equal to each other and the angle of left and right side will be equal to each other.

Note: The rectangle and rhombus are completely different from each other but these have a similarity that they belong to the quadrilateral family. And the difference between them is that they contain different length of sides, different length of upper and lower sides and both have different angles to each other
