Hint: In the process of making plastics, we use a toxic liquid compound with a formula \[CH3 = CHCN\] . It is also known as Acrylonitrile.

Complete step by step answer:
Vinyl Cyanide, also known as Acrylonitrile or propenonitrile is a colourless volatile liquid nitrile used chiefly in organic synthesis and for polymerization. Although it’s commercial samples can be yellow due to impurities. It has a strong smell of garlic or onions. Its chemical Formula is \[{C_3}{H_3}N\] and as the Molar mass of 53.06 g / mol
It is an important monomer which is used for the manufacture of useful plastics such as polyacrylonitrile.
Acrylonitrile or Vinyl cyanide is produced by catalytic ammoxidation of propylene, also known as the SOHIO process. In the SOHIO process, propylene, ammonia, and air are passed through a fluidized bed reactor containing the catalyst at 400–510 \[^\circ C\] and 50–200 \[kP{a}\] .
The primary use of acrylonitrile is as the raw material for the manufacture of acrylic and modacrylic fibres. Other major uses include the production of plastics such as acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene and styrene-acrylonitrile, nitrile rubbers, nitrile barrier resins, adiponitrile and acrylamide.

Therefore, the correct answer is Option (B).

Note:
Vinyl is bad for the environment because of the materials used in its manufacture. Its acute effects are that Workers exposed via inhalation to high levels of vinyl cyanide for less than an hour experienced mucous membrane irritation, headaches, nausea, feelings of apprehension and nervous irritability; low grade anaemia, leukocytosis, kidney irritation, and mild jaundice were also observed in the workers.
