Hint: The Danish East India company refers to the two chartered Danish-Norweigian companies. It was founded again as Asiatic Company in 1730. The first company carried out its operation from 1616- 1650 and the second company functioned from 1670-1729.

The Company had sent a representative from Tranquebar,Tamil Nadu to the Nawab of Bengal in order to do business. The first Danish East Indian company was started in 1616 by king Christian IV.
