HintThe creation of the United Nations after World War II in 1945. The United Nations Head Office was in New York in 1946 and its current number of members is 193.

Step by step solution
Trigue Lye was appointed in 1946 the first Secretary-General of the United Nations. He was from Norway. Britain, the Soviet Union, China, and others met on 26 January 1, 1942, in the city of San Francisco in the USA. A conference of the representatives of the Allies took place in which it was decided that these nations would join together to face the Axis States. This organization was given the name of the United Nations by the then US President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

According to the Charter the United Nations has four major objectives: - To maintain international peace and security through the collection system and to keep aggressive tendencies under control; (2) To resolve international disputes peacefully. Accelerating the process of disintegration of self-determination and colonialism of nations. To encourage and reinforce international cooperation in social, economic, cultural, and humanitarian fields. The Sangh has also set two more goals related to these objectives. They are the Disarmament and Establishment of a new international economic system.

It is expected from all members that they will faithfully abide by the obligations imposed on them by the Charter. All members will settle international disputes with peaceful means. All nations will not act against the objectives of the United Nations, they will not threaten or threaten to violate or invade the independence of any country. The Union of Nations shall comply with the principle of maintaining international peace and security even from the States not subscribing to it. The Union will not interfere in the domestic affairs of a country.

Hence, Option B is the correct answer.

Note At the time of the founding of the United Nations in 1945, only 51 nations were its members. Initially, its membership was limited to European countries only, but today it has 193 nation members of which about 135 nations belong to the third world, i.e. about two-thirds of the developing countries of the third world with almost half of the numerical power. This has made it a truly global organization. Although it is still dominated by big powers, yet victory in the voting of third world countries on the basis of their numerical power definitely leaves a moral impact.
