Hint:The huge and large collection of gas, dust, millions and billions of stars and their solar systems all held together formed by the gravitational attraction is the galaxy. There are mainly four types of galaxies.
-Spiral galaxies
-Lenticular galaxies
-Elliptical galaxies
-Irregular galaxies

Complete answer:
The galaxy in which we live is the Milky Way which is a large barred spiral shaped galaxy. All the stars which we see during the night sky gazing are in our own Milky Way Galaxy. When we see our galaxy in an actually real dark area, it appears to be as the milky band of light in the sky and hence, it is called the Milky Way Galaxy.

The first evidence for the shape of the Milky Way Galaxy comes from the bright band of stars which stretches across the sky which is observed with the naked eye in places of dark night skies. The band appears to be the disk of stars which forms the milky way from the inside of the disk and which mentions that our galaxy is originally flat and the concentration of stars in the bands adds that our galaxy is spiral in shape.

Hence, the option A is the correct answer.

Note:Know the concepts of the galaxies and its types properly and know the difference among its type. Always remember that all the stars which we observe at night are in our own Milky way Galaxy which comes from the bright band of the stars. The Milky Way – the so-called supercluster of galaxies has been named “Laniakea” that means “Immense Heaven”.
