Hint:
Light travels from a source and bounces off objects which are in the path of the light and get perceived by our eyes and our brain processes this signal, which eventually enables us to see.

According to laws of reflection
-The incident ray, reflected ray and the normal to the reflecting surface lies on the same plane.
-The angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection.

Step-by-step solution:
When light travels from one medium to another medium then it encounters three kind of possible phenomena,
-The light gets absorbed by the medium, which is called absorption.
-The bounces back after striking the surface of the medium, which is called reflection.
-The light passes through or bends through the medium which is called refraction.

A mirror is a material which is having a polished surface and one reflecting surface. Generally glass is used to make the mirror. These mirrors are made by applying a thin layer of silver nitrate or Aluminum behind the glass to restrict the passing of light from the mirror.

Based on the curvature of the surface of mirror, mirrors are categorized into three types
-Plane mirror (with flat surface)
-Convex mirror (with reflecting surface bulged out)
-Concave mirror (with reflecting surface towards inside)

When light is incident on a plane mirror, most of it gets reflected, and some of it gets absorbed in the medium depending on the property of the material of the plane mirror.
The same thing happens with all kinds of mirrors, i.e. concave mirrors and convex mirrors.
Light follows reflection of light wherever reflection takes place. Hence, laws of reflection are true for all reflecting surfaces.

Therefore, option D is the correct answer.

Note:
-All the reflecting surfaces follow the law of reflection.
-If the reflecting surface is regular then it will show the regular reflection and if the reflecting surface is irregular then it will show irregular reflection.
