Hint:
He believed in monotheism. He wrote a famous book in 1809 called the gift to monotheists. In support of his view, he wrote Bengali translations of the Vedas and Upanishads and clarified that ancient Hindu theology also supports monotheism.

Complete solution:
Raja Rammohun Roy is considered the father of the Indian Renaissance. He was rich in multifaceted talent. The Brahmo Samaj founded by him, which was based on modern Western ideas, Raja Rammohan Roy as a reformist of Hinduism, believed in the modern scientific view of human dignity and the principle of social equality.

In 1814, he founded the 'Atmiya Sabha' in Calcutta and reprimanded idolatry, the rigidity of the caste system, meaningless customs and other social evils. Raja Rammohan Roy, a staunch supporter of monotheism, made it clear that he believed in the fundamental unity of all religions.

They accepted the things of other religions which they considered worthy of Hinduism. According to him, the man himself should study religious texts and follow customs. In 1820, he wrote a book called Precepts of Jesus, in which he tried to separate the moral and philosophical message of the 'New Testament' from its miraculous stories. He praised the moral and philosophical messages of the New Testament. He also put many false customs of Christianity in front of people. This effort caused him the ire of Christian missionaries and many of his Christian friends were disappointed with him because he had a misunderstanding that Raja Ram Mohan Roy was encouraging people to renounce Hinduism and become Christians. In order to realize his ideas and objectives, he founded the Brahmo Sabha (which later became the Brahmo Samaj). They want to uplift people through social reform. And wanted to inculcate the spirit of patriotism in them. King Rammohan Roy strongly opposed the practice of Sati.

Hence, the correct answer is option D.

Note:
Raja Rammohan Roy was an advocate of propagating modern western education. He assisted David Heyer in the establishment of Hindu College in 1817 and supported various education-related schemes offered by him. He opened the English school in Calcutta in 1817 at his own expense in Dante, the famous philosopher of France. The philosophy of Rousseau and Waltair was taught. He founded the Vedanta College which taught Indian science and western physics and social science. To enrich the Bengali language, he composed Bengali grammar and Bengali poetry.
