The Parliament of India comes under Article 79 to 122 in Part V of the Constitution having an elected president and two houses namely the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha.

The Constitution of India allows the legislature to make bylaws for the country so that laws are being implemented and this process is known as delegated legislation. There are three ways in which the Legislative exercises control over the Executive and they are given as follows:
Power of delegation: The power of delegation is an important constituent element of the legislature and this power has been conferred in such a way that it is legal and constitutional.
Application of law depending on changing circumstances: A practical way or application was made to change laws according to changing circumstances through instruments of rules framed through the executive.
A controlled mechanism: A controlled mechanism is required to make sure that the powers which are provided to the administration are not being misused. Therefore two types of controlled mechanisms are used such as judicial control and legislative control.

Note:The certain legislative functions are exerted in order to establish a legislative policy and frame it as a rule of conduct. Keeping in mind the various diverse activities of a welfare country, it will not be feasible for the legislature alone to perform all the functions in a perfect manner, therefore the delegated legislation comes into action.
