Hint: Energy is required for all activities, to provide light and heat, to cook to propel vehicles, and to drive machinery in industries. Energy can be used conventionally or non- conventionally.

Complete answer:
Our country has become increasingly dependent on fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and gas due to the growing consumption of energy. The fluctuation in the prices of oil and gas and their potential shortages have raised uncertainties about the future security of energy supply, this also can have serious repercussions on the growth of the national economy. Besides, there are serious environmental concerns because of the increasing use of fossil fuels which causes an immediate need to use renewable or replenishable energy sources like wind, solar, tidal, biomass energy, etc. India has been blessed with an abundance of sunlight, wind, water, and biomass and it has larger plans for the development of these renewable energy resources.
Electricity can be generated with the use of Oceanic tides. Floodgate dams are built across inlets. Water flows into the inlet and gets stuck when the gate is closed during high tides. After the tide falls outside the flood gate, the water is retained by the floodgate which flows back to the sea via a pipe that carries it through a power-generating turbine. This turbine, hence, generates electricity.
In India, the Gulf of Kuchchh in Gujarat on the western coast, the Gulf of Khambat, and the Gangetic delta in Sunderban regions of West Bengal are ideal for utilizing tidal energy.

Thus, option (A) is correct.

Note: Since oceanic tides are required to utilize tidal energy, the locations for harnessing this type of energy, where these dams can be built, are limited.
