Hint: First we will understand the term trapezoid and trapezium. Now, we will see its properties and its types like scalene trapezoid, isosceles trapezoid and right trapezoid. We will use the diagrams to understand their properties.

Complete step by step answer:
Here we have been asked to define a right trapezoid. First let us see the meaning of a trapezoid and then we will consider its types.
In Euclidean geometry a trapezoid is a quadrilateral with a pair of opposite sides parallel. It is also called a trapezium. The figure below shows a trapezoid.

Now, there are three types of trapezoid namely: - scalene trapezoid, isosceles trapezoid and right trapezoid. Let us check them one by one.
(1) Scalene trapezoid: - A scalene trapezoid is a type of trapezoid whose sides are different in measurement of their length. Figure below shows a scalene trapezoid.

(2) Isosceles trapezoid: - An isosceles trapezoid has its non parallel sides equal in length. The figure an an isosceles trapezoid is shown below.

(3) Right trapezoid: - A right trapezoid has two of its equal to 90 degrees. The figure of a right trapezoid can be shown as below.

Note: Note that if you will make both the non parallel sides of a trapezoid parallel then it will become a parallelogram, so you can conclude that all the parallelograms are trapeziums but all the trapeziums are not parallelograms. The area of a trapezium is given as $A=\dfrac{h}{2}\left( a+b \right)$ where ‘a’ and ‘b’ are the lengths of the parallel sides of the trapezium and h is the distance between these parallel sides.
