Hint: In physics, magnetic field is the space around a moving charges or a bar magnet where any other magnetic material can experience magnetic force, magnetic field direction is represented by magnetic field lines, so we will understand the definition of magnetic flux and then will determine the nature of term “Weber” in physics.
Complete answer:
So In order to measure flux like every other measurement standard international unit of flux is given as Weber. Magnetic flux is defined as the dot product of magnetic field and the area upon which magnetic field lines are crossing, mathematically its written as,
${\phi _B} = \vec B.\vec A$
Since, the standard unit of magnetic field is known as Tesla and area is measured in its respective units of ${m^2}$ so this product $T{m^2}$ is referred as weber.
Hence, $1\,Weber = 1\,T{m^2}$
It is named in honor of German Physicist Wilhelm Eduard Weber
Note:It should be remembered that, It is a scalar quantity which denotes physically how many magnetic lines of forces cross the cross sectional area or passing through it. So whenever there is change in flux, the body opposes this change in behavior and electromotive force induction is the result of that. This law is in accordance with Newton’s first law which states that any change in body state due to external force would be opposed by a body known as Inertia. Also the direction of current induced in the loop is according to Lenz’s law which states that current induces in that direction so as to oppose the cause of it.
