Hint: To find the unit of volume we need to check how we can calculate volume of a particular object that will lead us to the unit of volume. So, here in this question we will check the formula of calculating the volume of any object so as to get the required answer.

Complete answer:
In order to find the answer to the above question first we will discuss the Unit.
A Unit is the quantity of a constant magnitude which is used to measure the magnitudes of other quantities of the same nature.
The magnitude of a physical quantity is expressed as,
Physical quantity = (numerical value) × (unit).
Units can be classified into two types: - Fundamental Unit and Derived Unit.
There are seven fundamental units and all other units that are derived from fundamental comes under the derived unit.
Here we have to discuss the unit of volume.
Since volume is the measure of capacity that an object can hold in it. It is the three – dimensional space occupied by a solid object.
So, to calculate the volume of an object in three-dimensional space we will find the product of the dimensions of the object and we know that solid objects have three dimensions so we will multiply all the three dimensions. So Volume is also called a derived unit.
Let us take an example of a cuboid.
It has three dimensions that are length, breadth and height.
All these three dimensions have S.I. unit as meters so we will calculate the unit of volume it as
\[\begin{align}
  & \text{m}\times \text{m}\times \text{m = }{{\text{m}}^{3}} \\
 & \\
\end{align}\]
Cubic metre is the S.I. unit of volume.
Now if we take the case of cubic millimetre it is also the unit of volume.
We can change litre into cubic meter then we get,
1 litre = 0.001 cubic meter.

So, the answer here is Option D both B and C.

Note:
Here in the question given above we need to keep in mind that liters can be converted into cubic meters otherwise one may get confused between the two and may result in the wrong answer of the question. So it can be said that both of these are the units of volume.
