Phase 2 (1981-1985): In this phase, Number of milk sheds increased from 18 to 136, urban markets also expanded the outlets for milk to 290, and production of domestic powder milk also increased.
Phase 3 (1985-1996): It helps the dairy co-operatives to expand their work and make the market for increasing the volume of milk.
