These are the events that end up in sudden disruption of a traditional lifetime of a society, causing damage to life and property to such an extent that standard social and economic values available are inadequate to revive normalcy after a disaster. Disaster includes earthquakes, cyclones, hurricanes, drought, flood and much more.
