Hint:
The story is about a boy who after falling into bad company learns a lesson only when his father gives him a rotten apple (representing the bad company) to be placed in a basket full of healthy apples (representing good people like the boy). Write what kind of bad company the boy fell into and what he realized after his father taught him a lesson.
Complete answer:
Ramesh was a 12-year-old boy who fell into the bad company of boys from his school. They would encourage him to skip school, bully other children in the class, be disrespectful to teachers, and would steal from the other children in a class.
One day, Ramesh’s mother found a very expensive pencil pouch in Ramesh’s bag. On asking Ramesh about it, he denied knowing about it but his mother knew he was lying. She told him to stop hanging out with bad friends. Ramesh did not pay any attention to her. Then his mother informed Ramesh’s father about it. On hearing about it, his father called Ramesh.
“Ramesh, go keep this apple in the basket of apples,” his father said.
“Father, this apple is rotten,” Ramesh replied.
“So what?” his father asked. “Nothing will happen. Go keep it.”
The next day, all the other healthy apples had become rotten. “I told you the apple was rotten,” Ramesh said.” Exactly,” said Ramesh’s father. “You are the good apples and your friends are the bad apple. If you spend too much time with them, you will become rotten as well”.
Ramesh understood the gravity of the words. It’s better to be alone than to be in a bad company because you become bad as well.
Note:
Always make sure your story has a plot. That is the most important thing about story writing. Keep close to the word limit and include all the points given in the instructions.
