First, Let us understand the basic concept of Buoyant force. It’s an upward force exerted by the fluid that opposes the weight of the body which is partially or fully immersed in the liquid. In fluids, pressure increases with depth as a result of the weight of the overlying fluid.Thus, pressure at the bottom of the fluid column is greater than at top of column.
Similarly, pressure at the bottom of an object submerged in fluid is greater than at top of the object.
