Now the only challenge was to cross the huge Ocean. It was almost impossible to cross the ocean, and the construction of a bridge was impossible. Therefore, Rama decided to make a floating stone bridge with the blessing and permission of the Ocean God.

Everyone began to discuss it as there was no one who could fly such a long ocean. Even the brave Angad could only fly for 100 miles in one go. Jambvat was an elderly Bear, and also the king of the bear kingdom. He was the only one who knew the real powers of Hanuman. At a young age, Hanuman was cursed to forget all of his powers and abilities. Therefore, Jambvat made Hanuman realise his true powers.

Soon all the monkeys began to encourage and motivate Hanuman. Hanuman agreed to try his powers, as he sat down and began chanting Mantras. Suddenly his body began to grow bigger and bigger. As it reached its peak he stood up, pushed himself up, and took off for Lanka. Everyone was very happy and impressed by Lord Hanuman's powers. Just when he reached above the Ocean, the sun became lighter, the winds began flowing hard and the weather became pleasant. It seemed as if even the ocean was helping Hanuman.

The moral of the story is that one should never underestimate himself. Even if something is difficult we must face it bravely and try to attain success. Another lesson that the story teaches us is that we should always help others in recognising their potential and encourage them for the best.
