1. Will the candidate have to fill up a different application form for every session?
There is absolutely no requirement for the candidate to fill up multiple application forms. The candidate has to fill up only one application form for all sessions. If he fills up the form now, the same form will be shown for later sessions. (March/April/May) However, students must keep in mind that they can appear for the JEE Main exam 2025 for three consecutive years. Hence, it is essential that students must prepare themselves well for the first attempt, so that they do not have to appear repeatedly.
2. Can the candidate apply for another session after the result has been declared?
The candidate is given a chance to apply for the next sessions which will be held in the months of March or April or May. The application window is reopened briefly after the declaration of results. However, instead of appearing again and again, students must focus on clearing the JEE Examination 2025 at the very first attempt. Students can also solve previous year papers for checking their preparation level, understanding the pattern of the examination and learning how to manage time during the examination.
3. Is it mandatory for all candidates to upload Gen-EWS, SC, ST, OBC(NCL) and PwD certificates?
Yes, it is compulsory for all candidates to upload an original copy of Gen-EWS/SC/ ST/OBC(NCL)/PwD candidates which are issued by the respective state authorities. In case the candidate does not possess such a certificate, then he/she is required to upload the self undertaking. Failure to do so, will result in the non acceptance of the application form and the student will not be allowed to appear or sit for the Joint Entrance (JEE) Examination 2025.
4. Which is the final score considered while compilation of results and preparation of merit list and ranking?
All candidates have the choice to appear in one or multiple sessions. For each session, the student is awarded an NTA score on the basis of the performance. The best NTA scores of all sessions is considered the whole preparing merit list/ranking. One of the biggest advantages of appearing for JEE Main 2025 is that there are multiple opportunities given to each candidate so as to improve their scores in the examinations, if they fail to do so in one attempt.
5. What is the total time duration of the examination for students who wish to appear for both B. Arch as well as B. Planning?
The admit cards are usually released in the month of August, until then all candidates are allowed to make corrections in their forms. All candidates who wish to appear in both Paper 2A and Paper 3B are allotted a total time duration of about 3.30 hours. This is from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm. The exam is condcuted at various regions of India as well as abroad. Students must always keep a track of their study schedule and their objectives to ensure they make it.
