Timberlake was the first to make a solo album in 2001 when the other members officially left the band to pursue other endeavours. He made his acting debut in the ABC television movie "Model Behaviour", directed by Maggie Lawson, in the year 2000. The increase of his celebrity caused internal conflicts within the band 'N Sync', which finally led to the band's disbandment. In August 2002, he made his solo debut at the MTV Video Music Awards, when he debuted with his debut solo single "Like I Love You". Phineas, their second child, was born in the summer of 2020.
